Let’s be consistent; killing a child is killing a child…why get upset about it?

7 02 2009

Evidently a Murder Mill in Tampa FL botched up one of their murders and accidentially let the lump of tissue baby be delivered before they killed it correctly and now there is a big brouhaha over the whole thing.

What am I missing? How exactly do you botch up the murder of an innocent baby up? You killed it right? Ok…mission accomplished, on to the next murder.

If you are going to go on killing human beings and not getting all upset over it, why in the world would you get upset because you didn’t kill it exactly the way you had planned to?

Dead is dead right?

Lawsuit: Florida Clinic Botched Abortion, Threw Out Live Baby

TAMPA, Florida  –  Eighteen and pregnant, Sycloria Williams went to an abortion clinic outside Miami and paid $1,200 for Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique to terminate her 23-week pregnancy.

Three days later, she sat in a reclining chair, medicated to dilate her cervix and otherwise get her ready for the procedure.

Only Renelique didn’t arrive in time. According to Williams and the Florida Department of Health, she went into labor and delivered a live baby girl.

What Williams and the Health Department say happened next has shocked people on both sides of the abortion debate: (Again, why? you have no problem with the murder of one of these little ones…why be shocked now? If you’re going to be a murderer, at least be a consistent one) One of the clinic’s owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant’s umbilical cord. Williams says the woman placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

BLOG: Click here to read Dr. Manny’s take on this.

Police recovered the decomposing remains in a cardboard box a week later after getting anonymous tips.

“I don’t care what your politics are, what your morals are, this should not be happening in our community,” said Tom Pennekamp, a Miami attorney representing Williams in her lawsuit against Renelique and the clinic owners. (Actually, all of the murders of these infants shouldn’t be happening right? But let’s not quibble over details)

The state Board of Medicine is to hear Renelique’s case in Tampa on Friday and determine whether to strip his license. The state attorney’s homicide division is investigating, though no charges have been filed. Terry Chavez, a spokeswoman with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, said this week that prosecutors were nearing a decision.

Renelique’s attorney, Joseph Harrison, called the allegations at best “misguided and incomplete” in an e-mail to The Associated Press. He didn’t provide details.

The case has riled the anti-abortion community, which contends the clinic’s actions constitute murder. (And their actions on all of the other murders didn’t constitute murder? What if they’d have killed this one correctly; according to plan…would it have been murder then?)

“The baby was just treated as a piece of garbage,” said Tom Brejcha, president of The Thomas More Society, a law firm that is also representing Williams. “People all over the country are just aghast.” (oh yeah…how shocking…we meant to suck it’s brains out with a vacuum but instead threw it out…shocking)

Even those who support abortion rights are concerned about the allegations. (And once again I ask WHY? You got what you wanted…another dead person)

“It really disturbed me,” said Joanne Sterner, president of the Broward County chapter of the National Organization for Women, after reviewing the administrative complaint against Renelique. “I know that there are clinics out there like this. And I hope that we can keep (women) from going to these types of clinics.” (As opposed to what kind? The kind that murder children more correctly?)

According to state records, Renelique received his medical training at the State University of Haiti. In 1991, he completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Interfaith Medical Center in New York.

New York records show that Renelique has made at least five medical malpractice payments in the past decade, the circumstances of which were not detailed in the filings.

Several attempts to reach Renelique were unsuccessful. Some of his office numbers were disconnected, no home number could be found and he did not return messages left with his attorney.

Williams struggled with the decision to have an abortion, Pennekamp said. She declined an interview request made through him.

She concluded she didn’t have the resources or maturity to raise a child, he said, and went to the Miramar Women’s Center on July 17, 2006. Sonograms indicated she was 23 weeks pregnant, according to the Department of Health. She met Renelique at a second clinic two days later. (but she sure had the resources to murder one didn’t she?)

Renelique gave Williams laminaria, a drug that dilates the cervix, and prescribed three other medications, according to the administrative complaint filed by the Health Department. She was told to go to yet another clinic, A Gyn Diagnostic Center in Hialeah, where the procedure would be performed the next day, on July 20, 2006.

Williams arrived in the morning and was given more medication.

The Department of Health account continues as follows: Just before noon she began to feel ill. The clinic contacted Renelique. Two hours later, he still hadn’t shown up. Williams went into labor and delivered the baby.

“She came face to face with a human being,” Pennekamp said. “And that changed everything.” (wow…what a shock…it’s a human being!)

The complaint says one of the clinic owners, Belkis Gonzalez came in and cut the umbilical cord with scissors, then placed the baby in a plastic bag, and the bag in a trash can.

Williams’ lawsuit offers a cruder account: She says Gonzalez knocked the baby off the recliner chair where she had given birth, onto the floor. The baby’s umbilical cord was not clamped, allowing her to bleed out. Gonzalez scooped the baby, placenta and afterbirth into a red plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

No working telephone number could be found for Gonzalez, and an attorney who has represented the clinic in the past did not return a message.

At 23 weeks, an otherwise healthy fetus would have a slim but legitimate chance of survival. Quadruplets born at 23 weeks last year at The Nebraska Medical Center survived.

An autopsy determined Williams’ baby – she named her Shanice – had filled her lungs with air, meaning she had been born alive, according to the Department of Health. The cause of death was listed as extreme prematurity.

The Department of Health believes Renelique committed malpractice by failing to ensure that licensed personnel would be present when Williams was there, among other missteps.

The department wants the Board of Medicine, a separate agency, to permanently revoke Renelique’s license, among other penalties. His license is currently restricted, permitting him to only perform abortions when another licensed physician is present and can review his medical records.

Should prosecutors file murder charges, they’d have to prove the baby was born alive, said Robert Batey, a professor of criminal law at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport. The defense might contend that the child would have died anyway, but most courts would not allow that argument, he said.

“Hastening the death of an individual who is terminally ill is still considered causing the death of that individual,” Batey said. “And I think a court would rule similarly in this type of case.

Just in case you have never seen what’s being spoken of; here are some photos…take a close look and tell me it’s just tissue:

Great points. These people are sick. How ironic that the pro-aborts are (pretending to be?) shocked at this, when as long as the baby was in the womb they’d approve of her death up until 40 weeks.

Rand,
You are right. But they are necessary to show the monstrosity that abortion is.

How can people spend thousands of dollars in saving extinct animals and at the same time there are campaigns to kill a baby like this. If mothers to be don’t want the baby, there’s no need to kill them. There are many infertile women who would give anything to have a baby.

I’ve tried to translate Juan’s comment, sorry this is the best I could do…if someone can help that would be appreciated:

Quote:
As it is possible that so many thousands are spent of dollars, and campaigns are made to save a species Animal in via of extinction, and to the same time, campaigns are made TO KILL drinks of this form, IF THEY DO NOT WANT IT GIVE THAT IT IN ADOPTION, For which Mater it? when there are so many sterile mothers that they would give the life to have drinks like Son.

Bebe means baby, Juan said “how can they make campaigns that kill a baby in this form” if they do not want it why dont they give it up for adoption, why kill it? when there’s so many sterile mothers that would give their life to have a baby as a son.

What makes me mad that most of the people that are with abortions are women.. I cant believe that they can aprove of such a horrific procedure. I think if they are going to be practicing abortions, then they should let the patient look at an abortion video before they make that decision. It breaks my heart to see these images, im 22 weeks pregnant and I never ever in my craziest dreams think of ever hurting my BABY not my fetus MY BABY.. May god forgive them and have mercy on the souls of the women and doctors that have had or done abortions.. because I could not forgive such a horrific crime.. Alex

It’s my body, my life and my baby, I can, will and am able to do with it as I please. If I fell pregnant and you were not willing to foot the bill, I would want to deal with my situation as i saw fit – I am not saying I would or have ever had an abortion, but I would like the choice as a free nation to have it as an option.

I get so fed up with internet warriors who have an opinion and use the ‘scare’ tactic to save the world and yet do little in the way of activly assisting it. Are you out there helping the single mothers who have no life, no money and no future as a direct result of seeing your images? Probably not!

“L”, it may be your body, and your life, but the life of that BABY is NOT yours. It belongs to the baby. It ceased to just about YOUR life and ONLY your life when you and your “significant other” let your undies hit the carpet.

As far as “footing the bill”, my tax dollars fund both the abortion industry AND the child welfare agencies who are charged with protecting the little “inconveniences” that don’t wind up in a medical waste bag. I’m footing the bill on BOTH sides.

As far as “actively assisting”, I’m a foster parent and I’m in the process of adopting a beautiful little African American baby we’ve had since he was 72 hours old, and who just turned 11 months old. I’ll be certain to let him know at his upcoming 1 year birthday party that his life isn’t as important as the convenience of folks like you.

He’s beautiful. He’s precious. He’s valuable. He deserves better than to have his brains sucked out and his body dismembered before being tossed in a dumpster in our “free” country.

The foster parenting/adoption classes we attended were PACKED with families who want to raise children deemed garbage bin and dumpster-filler by folks such as yourself.

I personally get fed up with “internet warriors” who militate for some illusory “right” to murder based purely upon their desire not to be inconvenienced by the results of their sin, stupidity, and irresponsibility.

Even as pro-abortion a rag as the NYT concedes that the best data available points to only about 1% of all abortions being due to rape or incest. The other 99 or so percent?? Sacrificial murder on the altar of personal convenience.

http://www.nytimes.com/1989/10/13/us/rape-and-incest-just-1-of-all-abortions.html

I thought this “free” country held out the promise of LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Once you’ve robbed a baby of the first of those promises because of your callous irresponsibility, I would guess he would differ as to how free this country really was for him.

Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!! I became pregant at the age of 17. I am now 36. I thought about abortion, but instead kept the baby and did my best i could as a mother. I had NO money, wasnt married, and was still in high school. Today I have one of the most loving sons on earth, he also serves in the USCM, I am soooooooooooo proud to be his mother!! and if I had only thought of my life and ended his I would have never known the joy he brought to me! Myself, I finished school and am now a RN. Babies dont steal dreams they make them better!!!! And for the mothers to be that are scared dont think I wasnt cause I was, still am about a lot of things in his life, but would never change it, if you dont want the baby or cant take care of it someone in this world will. PLEASE!!! dont kill the children of our future.

It is the right of the fetus to have a fair and fighting chance at life. Regardless of the situation, wether it be a girl who sleeps around, did it once, or was raped, the absolute and ONLY positive that can come of such a negative situation is to bring new life into this world, and if it be that the mother of the child is not physically, emotionally, maturely, or financially able to care for the child, then the next most beautiful thing is giving that beautiful baby to a family who dearly wishes to have their own. I agree that women have the right to do with THEIR body as they please, however, the growing child within the womb at any stage of pregnancy is not her body to make a decision for.
I have not read any comment here that uses so called “scare” tacticts in their fight against the murder of human life. Those who are anti-abortion (especially those I have seen on this site) have stated their opinions very straight forward and bluntly, simply displaying their disgust for what is unarguably murder.

“L.” Your body? You are willing to murder someone because you can’t use protect? So what, every time you screw up and get knocked up your just going to have the little guy sucked out of you? My friend is having a family adopt her child. not only are they giving her money for it (which she is going to use towards college) she knows that her child will live a happy and healthy life with someone that can’t have children of their own. they get to experience the gift of life. hm. spend money on a abortion you could regret for the rest of your life. Or let someone live. let someone have a change. just because you messed up and got pregnant doesn’t mean another human should pay for it.

L,
How nice of you to come…welcome.

You might not have read my post closely enough…it was about the hypocrisy of the idea that a while a babys head is not exposed, it’s “fetal tissue” but when it’s exposed, then it becomes a human…and people are up in arms about killing it…as if there is a difference.

Did you get that out of it…? The irony of saying you have the right to kill that “little lump of fetal tissue” (see pics above for reference) if you want…but when it peeks it’s little head out of your body, then it magically goes from “fetal tissue” to “a human life”….(again, see those same pics)

Did you skip over that part your zeal to make your “right to murder a human” (whoops..it’s not a human yet) known?

The fact is…killing a human is killing, and you know it. You might supress that knowledge for your own gain…(as you so aptly have demonstrated here) but nevertheless, it’s killing. People kill for their own reasons all of the time…but what makes this sickening… is that people whitewash this type of abortion with “sanitized nomenclature” like “abortion.”

You said you wouldn’t have an abortion while keep that option open….nicely done. It’s pretty simple. You kill or you don’t kill.

Step up to the plate and be honest….you wanna kill your baby…(when/or if that time comes) then have the guts to call it what it is.

Seriously passive aggressive. You know it is possible to have an argument while not insulting the person you talking with. I mean if this person had the guts to join this conversation, you could at least be courteous.

That anonymous comment was courteous and i completely agree. “L” has a right to have his/her own opinion, even if it conflicts your opinion. If you want to right something on a blog, don’t attack someone who has a different opinion to you.

I’m not saying i’m pro-abortion, because i would never get one, but let people have an opinion, just like you have.
Also it was mentioned by GaryV that 1% of abortions were due to rape and the other 99% are just inconvenience. You are forgeting those who are forced to get abortions in order to protect there own health. Some people need to get abortions, or both themselves AND the baby will be dead.

25 06 2010
GaryV

Sorry “name”, but abortions done as life-saving procedures are subsumed in the 1% set. Which leaves the same 99% for conveniences sake.

And, no one is suggesting that abortion in those cases is to be forbidden any more than a medically necessary amputation .That’s a strawman argument. We’re discussing abortion as a contraceptive. Murder for convenience.

name,
#1, it wasn’t me who posted that comment, it was another poster who had rights…the rights you speak of.

How many abortions are done every year due to health reasons?

I’ll be waiting for your answer.

I agree with Gary. I attended foster classes with many people who hoped to adopt the drug-exposed unwanted children of this world. I was lucky enough to be able to adopt my foster child who would have been aborted if his mother had known she was pregnant early enough to recieve an abortion. Every single day that I have with him, I know that he is a blessing, and I am so greatful that she did not know of the beautiful life growing within her until it was too late for her to extinguish that life. Looking at my son is the only proof that I need to know that abortions of convience are wrong.

Anixx

Why women so fiercely justify abortions? I feel it contrary to their destiny and instincts. But the facts are most women are prepared to kill their children just for their sexual pleasure.

16 07 2010
GaryV

Anixx, it is indeed contrary to womens’ innate programming to kill their own babies, but the answer as to how they can proceed anyway lies (as always) in Scripture.

Rom 1: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness;

19 because that which is known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it unto them.

Mankind has the seemingly limitless ability to suppress even blatantly self-evident truth. Couple that with a propensity for self deception, and nearly anything is possible.

Shoot, if you can suppress truth as self evident and universal as the knowledge of God, how hard in comparison is it to suppress the self-evident truth that you’re committing murder when you abort a baby?? A piece of cake in comparison.

To all the women that think about abortion as an option, here is a word of experience:, When I was 19 years old I had an Abortion, like everyone else thought then and still some do, I beleived there was no baby, just an egg, I remember being wheeled out of that PROCEDURE room and seeing a little bag hanging from the bed, I remember thinking at the time, Thats a lot of blood for just an egg… To this day I still think about that future child, whether it would have been a he or a she, would she have looked like her father or me? Would he be short or tall… Would she be like her father eat all day and never gain a pound or like her mama and just look at food and gain ten?? Would there have been Grandkids that I will never meet NOW?? In my heart, the only way I can bear it, is to NAME HER and know that she is with the Father and forgives my ignorance… so heres to you Angel, be you boy or girl, I will see you in Heaven and hug you a million times, the one’s YOU were denied when I took your life, I can never change that, but if one person, changed their mind about GETTING RID OF their CHILD, then I will have made up for it just a teeny tiny little bit and my heart would rest, knowing something good come out of your death. Someone would have loved my little Angel, some one who couldn’t have their own. ABORTION is not an option, it’s a cop out.

I pray every day that it does…my daughter in law decided she wanted an abortion with my sons child, they even knew it was a boy and had fought over names He has a name now, Angeltwo, because she went and found a “Doctor-(meaning healer)” who aborted late stage pregnancies. This was after I told her about my little baby Angel. Really hurts. But I do know he’s up in my Fathers Kingdom laughing and playing joyously with my Angel…and I will give him the love, he should have had here on earth,
when I get there. Thank you for speaking out also.
